I manage all financial matters of the Centre including:
- preparing the Centre’s budget, presenting it to the board for approval, and ensuring that Centre activities adhere to the budget
- maintaining accurate financial records throughout the year to be reviewed at any time by members, other officers, or administration.
- informing the Centre’s directors and members of its financial strengths and weaknesses.
- filing appropriate forms with the Canada Revenue Agency to maintain the Centre’s status as a Registered Charitable organization.
- disbursing funds and paying bills promptly as approved by the board of directors.
- depositing centre funds & reconciling bank statements.
